This meeting will be held at the "Grace T. Black Auditorium" in El Monte, CA and will be hosted by El Monte's, Superintendent and Chapter Director, Christopher Ortiz. Our chapter has arranged for some quality free training that will be provided by Ryann Herrera, owner of Traffic Zone Training. Ryann is an "American Traffic Safety Services Association" Certified Flagger instructor, and she will provide instruction on a 4-hour class entitled "Flagging, Traffic Control Training." The morning registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and class will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Registration for this class is required and a registration form has been provided as an attachment to the meeting flyer.
Joy Wirasatien with "JCL Traffic and Equipment" is sponsoring the cost for the lunchtime meal. Joy has arranged for "Stonefire Grill" to serve a delicious Lemon Garlic Chicken Breast, Mesquite BBQ Tri-Tip, Stonefire BBQ Chopped Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, a Freshly Baked Breadsticks. Drinks will also be provided by Joy.
We have provided the Credit Card Authorization form for advanced 50/50 raffle drawings.

This year, our Chapter’s annual “Training & Trade Show” event falls on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. The "Save The Date" flyer is attached as a reminder for you to add this special event to your calendar. The Training & Trade Show is designed to offer an array of free indoor and outdoor training sessions along with the ever popular Equipment Competition events. Our Vendor members will be displaying their best and newest equipment, materials and supplies in the Vendor Display area, free of charge.

Great News! We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the annual Clayton Trejo Scholarship Award Program until April 30, 2020. This program was developed to support students by giving Chapter financial aid to individuals who have already chosen their college career path to be in the Public Works field. If this is you, we encourage you to download our program application, become familiar with the program criteria, and to mail your completed application to Gerard Batista at your earliest convenience. Individuals selected to receive the awards will be invited to attend the annual Clayton Trejo Scholarship Award Program ceremony at the General Membership Meeting on June 9, 2020 to receive their award.
Just a reminder, the application deadline is April 30, 2020. We look forward to receiving your application soon.
