SPOUSAL PROGRAM

This year we have developed a variety of activities for all spouses!  With the Conference located so close to the beautiful Southern California Coast, we will take advantage of the location!  Please see Itinerary below:

• Tuesday, September 23
  • Chapter Hosted Hospitality Event at the Irving Marriott Hotel
    • 4:00-6:00 p.m. Paradise Cove
    • Join your significant other while we mingle with our MSA Family
  • Wednesday, September 24
    • Breakfast  6:00-7:45 a.m. in the FLOE Lounge
    • Meet us by 8:00 a.m.for an 8:20 a.m. departure for
      • Whale watching cruise with V.I.P. treatment 9:30 a.m.
        • Davey’s Locker 400 Main Street, Newport Beach, CA
        • 2 hour cruise as we search for whales and dolphins
        • Drink, binoculars & VIP seating
        • Possibility of seeing Blue, Fin, Gray, Orca or Humpback whales
        • Bottlenose & common dolphins or seals are also possible
        • You can get wet so dress accordingly (light jacket, UV shirt, cap. Waterproof sunscreen)
        • Lunch will follow so bring extra clothes if you like
        • Straight to lunch afterward (you can leave extra clothes on bus)
      • Lunch 12:00-2:30
        • Famous Mexican Restaurant in Costa Mesa
          • El Matador 1768 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA
          • Delicious meal (choice of Fajitas, Taco Salad, Asada burrito or cheese enchilada with beef taco plate)
          • Refreshing Margarita (virgin for the non-drinkers)
          • Chambord or Chocolate with Ice Cream
          • Tequila lesson
        • Yoga & Breathing 3:30-4:30
          • Marriott lawn
            • Taught by Tanvi Shah, Author of “Decoding the Yoga Cleanse Experience”
            • Grab a towel from your goodie bag & those loose clothes
            • Stretch those muscles
            • Enjoy the Pranayama Breathing Experience
          • Vendor Hosted Hospitality Event with Spouses/Significant other

• Thursday, September 25, 2025
  • Breakfast in the FLOE Lounge
    • 6:30-8:00 a.m. Breakfast in Main Ballroom
  • Relaxing at the Marriot
    • Join us in our private room after breakfast at 9:00
  • Chocolate tasting
    • A little chocolate lesson with a lot of tasting
    • Snacks & drinks
  • Games and fun with the gang
    • Prize winning games
  • 11:30-1:00 Lunch in the FLOE Lounge
  • Floral Arrangement with Andrea Batista
    • Something beautiful to take home with you
  • Dinner Dance
    • 5:00-6:00 No Host Cocktail hour – no host
    • 6:00-10:00 p.m. Gala Dinner Dance/Awards in Main Ballroom
    • Dance
    • Theme is Surfing/Beach
