ORANGE SHIRT DAY & ROADEO

The Los Angeles/Orange Area Chapter of the Maintenance Superintendents Association will host the Orange Shirt Day and Roadeo at the 55th Annual MSA Training Conference and Equipment Show.  The day is a perfect for attendees who wish to partake in the Annual Conference for one day.

EQUIPMENT SHOW and DEMONSTRATIONS: See the latest and greatest products your MSA Vendors have to offer

COMPETITION: Agency teams will compete for a championship trophy based on combined overall times in four events: Backhoe Skills, Mini-Excavator Skills, Sign Assembly, and Wheelbarrow Obstacle Endurance.  Each agency can register one 3-person team (one person for the Sign Assembly, one person for the Wheelbarrow, and one person that must operate the backhoe and mini-excavator).

TRAINING COURSES  Three specially choses classes will assist attendees in sharpening their knowledge in the field of Public Works.  The current class schedule includes, Unhoused Encampment Safety, 811 DigAlert Underground Safety Alert, NPDES Operation and Maintenance BMPs.  WCA will also present a chainsaw safety demo for all attendees.

LUNCH  Lunch will be provided for all attendees during the President's Luncheon.

COST Early Bird pricing is $80 per person.  After July 30, the cost will be $100 per person.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?  Municipal and Utility Field Workers, Supervisors, Superintendents, Managers, Directors, and Administration staff.
