November General Meeting & Training
November General Meeting & Training
The November General Meeting and Training session has been moved to a new date. Our regular date, the second Tuesday of each month, has been preempted by the coming Mid-Term Elections on November 8th. Since public facilities are used for election polling places, we could not secure one for our meeting. Therefore, please mark your calendar on November 15th for the general meeting.
Omar Rodriguez with Crafco Inc. will speak on “Crack Sealant Overview.” This class will provide a baseline of the different types of cracks that occur in pavement and the most comprehensive approaches to repair them to ensure the longevity of our roads.
Omar has been with Crafco for three months and covers Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Imperial Counties. Before Crafco, Omar worked at Precision Concrete Cutting for six years working with agencies all across Southern California to help them identify and remove dangerous trip hazards from their public sidewalks. Omar has been married to Cindy for almost 22 years and has two children, Omar Jr., aged 21, and Alyssa, aged 19. In his free time, Omar coaches youth soccer for AYSO and at Western Christian High School.
Dutch Oven will cater the meal. Pot Roast (w/ carrots, celery, onion), mashed potatoes, dinner rolls & green salad with Cookies. The cost is $25.00 per person.
